Western Ghats Wanderers was born out of a lifelong passion for the mountains, forests, and trails of the Western Ghats. At the heart of this journey is M. A. Thenmurugakani, who has been actively trekking since 1989, with a deep and enduring connection to the Nilgiris—one of the most pristine and ecologically significant regions of India.
